On the first shelf of the scenographic flight of steps of the Mount of Piety, constructed in 1741 on plan of architects Campolo and Basile, the "Statue of the Abundance" is found operates of Ignazio Buceti on design of the Campolo.

The architectonic complex of the Mount of Piety, seriously damaged from the earthquake of 1908, is from some years subordinate to a work of radical restoration to the aim to recover this important monument that it testifies the beauty of the ancient architecture of the city.
