The tenth room of the Regional Museum

The tenth room of the regional museum boasts two works of the great master
thought between the happiest of the last tormented period of his life:

Adoration of the Shepherds

Resurrection of Lazzaro

The Adoration of the Shepherds, commissioned from the Messinese Senate for thousand shield and donated to the Church of the Cappuccini.

The Resurrection of Lazzaro, executed on a commission basis of Giovan Battista De Lazzari, to betray the inner suffering of the artist.

The artistic infuence and the consequent introduced pittorica innovation from the Caravaggio in Sicily happily was interpreted from the messinese painter Alonzo Rodriguez

In the Tenth Room this splendid painting is situated: the Incredulity of St. Thomas
