The
Right Aisle of the Dome is composed from seven altars, with
statues in
white
marble that reproduce the ancient "Apostolate"
of the Montòrsoli, after
the sixth altar it's opened
the portal that
introduces to
the
Treasure.

Ordered
in four rooms the Treasure of the Dome has an expositive space of approximately 300 m2 distributed on
two levels, it
receives beyond 400 works between it decreases to us, monstrances,
candelabrums, frontals of altar, ciboria, reliquary vases,
tunics, mitres, thuribles, shrines etc.
The
jobs of arrangement of the premises have had to the architect La
Spina.

FIRST ROOM
Monstrance in
silver of Francesco Bruno - sec. XVII
Two angels kneeling, with pelican to the center, they

In the glass show-case of
the First room are
guarded it tools and church furnishingses, precious jobs of
goldsmith's art
and refined art of the silk, workings these typical ones of an

Numerous
they are the exposed more ancient works in the Second room, between these a
reliquary, the " Pigna " of
crystal of rocca that it rests on one sheet of silver recorded to the
burin, probably of the century X. Draft of a work very valuable, the crystal would be the part of one lamp worked from skilled workers sicilian-arabs used in origin like lamp of the Nail head of the
Sacrament and then used like reliquary from procession for the
sacred hat of the Madonna.

The
reliquiario of S. Augusto is a high vase-arm 71 cm that rests on
one octagonal base, is decorated of candlestick leaves on the eight
faces recorded to burin. The hand supports a shell on which a teca is
raised that it ends to covered cuspid of perline and enamels.
Of
the
century
XII the arm-reliquary of Saint Marziano to realize
from English bishop Riccardo Palmer, worked to jolt and chisel; one
cross astylar of XIII the century in silver from the iconography
byzantine; a monstrance in gold of XIII the century; two decrease us
of silver and enamels of Limoges of XIV the century; great artistic
relief covers the reliquiario of the Hat of the Madonna of the Letter
