The Church
of S. Caterina Valverde has been built in 1926 on
project of the architect Cesare Bazzani after the 1908
catastrophic earthquake. As other reconstructed churches
it doesn't have church square, the entry of the
believers is to shelter of the road, nevertheless, it
inserts each other perfectly in the context of a
functional and modern urban agglomeration with a divider
formed by an ample flower-bed that separates the Church
from the Street Garibaldi and with to the center the
monument to Antonello from Messina.
